Browns?

Cleveland Clowns (Browns) News, as I said a while ago the clowns would not finish 5 and 11 like Eric Mangini did the previous 2 years. The hiring of Mike Holmgren, Pat Shurmur, Tom Heckert proved to be a disaster for Cleveland, Randy Lerner should hang his head in shame.

However he is going to laugh all the way to the bank, I feel most sorry for the fans, they put up with Dolt McCoy who is proof what you do in college means nothing in the pros. Senaca Wallace was better than Dolt McCoy but he is not the answer. Thaddeus Lewis at 6 foot 2 inches never played and will not be here next year that is sad.

Now our offensive line has 3 players Joe Thomas, the center Alex Mack, Steinbach, the rest are just bodies who should be replaced as soon as possible.

The Peyton Hillis story is all but over here in Cleveland, he will be gone at the end of this year, perhaps Pittsburgh will pick him up and punish the clowns. Montario Hardesty is a joke, he is injury prone, got the speed of a turtle with three legs, I did like Chris Ohmygoshmygolly.

The only wide receiver we have that is a proven threat is Josh Cribbs, Little has shown me little, he has the size but hands and head are made of stone, Massaquoi was fair, when he was there. Mitchell, Norwood, Windsor drew little attention as far as the wide receiver core, but you had a quarter back who thought all the wide receivers had to be eight feet tall.

The tight end position the clowns had a bunch of good ones, Moore, Smith,Watson, then we added Cameron, Gronkowski good players, but we did not have a person with offensive intelligence to use them, Pat Shurmur thought he was a great coach, so therefore he took on the responsibilities of coordinator of the offense, alas he failed at both jobs. The great Mike Holmgren let him, so who is at fault here.

Defensive wise the Clowns played fair, we had several good players, D. Jackson, Gocong, Fujita, Sheard, Rubin, Taylor, our secondary Haden, Young, Ward, Skrine and the others are all on the small, slow side and need to be improved upon. Again we gave up way to many big plays, the opponents wide receivers looked so open that my 2 year old grandson could have thrown them the ball. Dick Jauron the defensive coach did a OK job with what he had, as far as the other coaches go Pat Shurmur failed miserably at his job, however I can not blame him as much as I blame Mike Holmgren, Tom Heckert general manager did alright but nothing spectacular, the other coaches all get a C grade, none are worth talking about.

Here is what the clowns(Browns) should do, make Dolt McCoy, a back up , trade who ever you can for a shot at quarterback RGIII (Robert Griffin the third) from Baylor, if that is not possible look at running backs Trent Richardson Bama, Montee Ball of Wisconsin, then I like Nick Foles quarterback at Arizona he is 6' 5” 240 lbs and a great football IQ. The other running back I would like to see at Cleveland is a fellow named, LaMichael James from Oregon 5' 9” very quick off the ball, he can score anytime, anywhere, anyplace.

I have to make mention here of two of our best players, both of whom are kickers, Phil Dawson is terrific, with out him this team would be so far out of the running its not even funny. The other kicker, Brad Maynard did a great job in a bad situation.

Well that is it for this year, watch for my comments on the draft, I will tell you what I think of the Clowns draft picks, hope all you folks have a great New Year and a blessed 2012.
